Installing CyberPanel

CyberPanel is a control panel you can install on a VPS or dedicated server and utilizes LiteSpeed as its underlying webserver.

CyberPanel has two editions available for download: CyberPanel and CyberPanel Ent.

CyberPanel is their completely free edition, which utilizes the open-source version of LiteSpeed, OpenLiteSpeed. At the same time, CyberPanel Ent. is their enterprise edition, utilizing LiteSpeed Web Server Enterprise, but does require purchasing a license to support more than one domain.

System Requirements

The system requirements listed for CyberPanel are as follows:

  • CentOS 7 as the operating system
  • Python 2.7 installed
  • 1 GB of RAM minimum (higher, at least 2 GB, is recommended)
  • 10 GB of available drive space

Installing CyberPanel

To install the base version of CyberPanel, you can log in to your VPS via SSH as the root user. Then you can run the following command, which will automatically download and run the CyberPanel install script:

sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)

Then follow the on-screen prompts to proceed through selecting what version of LiteSpeed you want to be installed, setting the admin password, and selecting what additional modules you want to be installed.

After the installation has been completed, you will be presented with the installation details for being able to access CyberPanel through a web browser:
