Domain registration is the process of registering a domain name for a period of time so you own it and can use it for your site. You decide on the name of a domain you'd like, check to see if it's available through a domain registrar and if so, register it.

Normally the price will range from $10 - $35 per year with additional options like hiding your WhoIs information (hiding your personal information from being viewed as the domain owner), SSL certification, etc.
